Hope Springs, a short movie set in 1870s Wyoming. Story follows a small town and its relationship with Native Americans. While I was designing for this project I did an extensive research into pioneers and Wild West. I wanted to bring some realism in the costumes rather the typical 'cowboys - look'. As the film was shot in black and white I focused mainly on the textures and fabrics as I knew they would reflect on the screen much more than it normally would.
